Our Mission
The mission of the School is to develop knowledge and educate creative individuals, for the advancement of successful organisations and a sustainable world
The School aims to foster high-quality, rigorous and applied research, to educate creative individuals in the art of critical thinking and to give them the tools and perspectives useful for the advancement of successful organisations in a sustainable global environment. We define successful organisations as being the ones which can achieve economic success within the caring capacity of our planet and society.
The School works for a sustainable society and educates internationally employable students with a responsible attitude towards social development.
The breadth of our research disciplines and our increasingly interdisciplinary orientation strengthens our ability to contribute to solutions to complex global problems.
Our programmes are based on research and the way we teach encourages students to develop independent and critical views.
The School provides a global mindset and an international learning experience, with various language orientations and cultural knowledge to complement the business curriculum. The international environment is also reinforced by international teachers and researchers (visiting as well as faculty), international fellow exchange and master students, and a comprehensive international exchange programme offering educational opportunities all over the globe.
We have unique and deep relationships with our partner companies. The ongoing dialogue provides us with up-to-date knowledge of the skills and awareness we need to equip our students with, plus exceptional access to research material in business and public sector environments and archives.

Our Vision
The School aims to be well known and respected in Europe
We want to be recognised as one of the top schools in the Nordic countries and aim to be one of the top 25 recognised schools in Europe. This ranking will be based on the quality of our students, the excellence of our faculty, our top international research and the international networks we develop together with our corporate and academic partners.
We want to be known for a number of outstanding areas: Accounting, Management, Innovation and Entrepreneurship as well as Environmental and Development Economics.
We also want to be acknowledged for having an international, environmental and social orientation, which was in place long before the recent general awareness of globalisation and corporate social responsibility.
By integrating law in business/economics education and increasing the integration of business/economics in legal education, we want to further our students¿ competitiveness, and create a unique position.
To achieve our European position, it is essential that our business and law programmes should always be ranked amongst the two leading ones in Sweden, and among the leading five in the Nordic area.
