The School of Business, Economics and Law is a Faculty at the University of Gothenburg and is led by a Faculty Board, which is responsible for undergraduate education, research and postgraduate education. The various activities are organised into seven departments and a number of research centres. There are also a number of support functions.
The University of Gothenburg has a decentralised structure, which gives the School of Business, Economics and Law a great deal of independence. It is, for example, responsible for its staff and finances and the quality and development of its programmes.
The School of Business, Economics and Law is led by a Dean, Professor Per Cramér, and two Vice-Deans. The management team reports to the Faculty Board. The School of Business, Economics and Law Advisory Board acts as a sounding board for the management team. It is the task of this council to support the school's management team in its strategic work.
