Increased global competition, the EU expansion and the acceleration of structural development are just a few examples of the forces propelling change. Furthermore, the increased segmentation of markets, a heightened environmental awareness and the explosive development and diffusion of information technology now linking all parts of the world, require new strategies and innovative approaches. These are among the intellectual challenges at the focus of the Graduate School.
The Graduate School, School of Business, Economics and Law, University of Gothenburg offers nine Master of Science programmes (two years, in English) as of Autumn 2011. All Master programmes are specialised Masters, with in-depth study of a particular area. In terms of the Bologna reform, this also means that students ‘progress’ in the sense of further depth and complexity of study and understanding. Given SBEL strategy and vision, our Master programmes include both career preparation and an academic and research orientation.
