The School of Business, Economics and Law is a Faculty Board area at the University of Gothenburg and is led by a Faculty Board, which is responsible for undergraduate education, research and postgraduate education. The various activities are organised into five departments, three sections and a number research centras. There are also support functions.
The University of Gothenburg has a decentralised structure, which gives the School a great deal of independence. It is, for example, responsible for its staff and finances and the quality and development of its programmes.
The School is led by a Dean, Professor Per Cramér, and two Vice-Deans. The management team reports to the Faculty Board. The Advisory Board acts as a sounding board for the management team. It is the task of this Council to support the School¿s management team in its strategic work.
Number of students in 2011: The number of students in terms of full-time equivalents were 4016 (7400 individuals).
Number of employees in 2011: 455 employees, of which 44 professors, 21 international guest professors and 44 associate professors.
