The School and the Environment

ISO-certification

The ISO-certification of the School means that we have an environmental management system that fullfils the requirements according to SS-EN ISO 14001:2004 when it comes to research, education, and collaborations with society within the School´s core areas. ISO 14001 is an internationally acknowledged standard for environmental management systems that is used across the word.

Educates and conact research on the environment

Several of the departments at the School have researchers who are studying environmental issues from a number of perspectives. Environmental issues are included in the teaching on almost all courses and programmes, and the Environmental social science programme focuses entirely on environmental issues. Some examples on research that addresses the environment are:

  • Environmental Management
  • Environmental Economics
  • Environmental Geography
  • Sustainable Consumption
  • Sustainable Investment
  • Economic Environmental History
  • Environmental Law
